Our pest-control team were called to carry out cockroach treatments at a prestigious block of privately owned properties recently in Glasgow. Following an initial treatment, a member of staff returned this week and found a severe infestation of cockroaches in the kitchen of one of the properties.
The team applied additional gel and a further call will be carried out in two weeks’ time. With this treatment we are looking to see a big reduction in activity. German cockroaches (Blattella germanica) are a common issue throughout Glasgow and indeed all major cities. Once we have removed the infestation, we will advise owners on the best way to reduce future insect problems. Thankfully only one ground floor of the property has an issue.
